I really enjoyed my stay with the great coffee options and the clean, spacious room. there was no hot water in the shower.

i thought it was very nice and affordable. Great location outside of Charlotte.

It was close to the North and South Carolina offices I needed to visit.

Booking on line was easy. Also I had to adjust my booking due to a meeting farther south. It was a simple way to adjust my reservation

Helpful staff tried to resolve issues.

Upon arrival, we experienced a frustrating check-in process that was delayed for over an hour. The first room assigned to us had a malfunctioning A/C and a TV with poor reception. When we were moved to a different room, we found that it had issues as well. The curtain didn't function properly, and we were left without basic housekeeping services during our three nights there. It reminded me of a dismal experience.

Breakfast was good, not worth the price though. Also, should have been a continental, free, breakfast. Room was spectacular. Room clerk (at check in) went out his way to get a correct room.

See above. Also, a little akward to get into and out of the parking lot. One way streets, center malls, etc.

The rooms are updated and neat and have particularly nice views.

Quiet place, I loved professional personnel.

The hotel was clean and had very nicely furnished rooms. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a microwave oven. The daily service was excellent. I came here for 2 nights and had a very very good stay.

Couple getaway not entirely perfect

I enjoyed the modern look of the hotel and how friendly the staff was. One night, I had an issue with the TV remote and they replaced it right away and even checked in on me after. It felt nice to have that level of attentiveness from the staff.

It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable given the amenities provided.

Rooms lack ventilation!!! Housekeeping services are inconsistent!!! The layout needs revision for a more functional experience!!! Poor sound insulation between rooms disrupts sleep quality!!!

The staff was friendly and cute. Just know, there's no free breakfast, but there are options nearby.

The bedroom in our suite was tight, and there were no drawers for luggage storage, made unpacking a hassle.

The service at Courtyard Matthews was really good. Every staff member I met greeted me with a smile and offered help. I really appreciated the lady at the front desk. She checked in on me to ensure everything was alright in my room. The lobby looked really nice, giving off a warm and inviting vibe. My room was clean and had comfortable bedding. The separate sink area from the shower was convenient. The room had issues with the air conditioning. It was hard to find a comfortable temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. The noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was quite noticeable, which affected my sleep at times. The limited gym equipment needs addressing. I would consider returning, hoping for improvements in air conditioning and sound insulation.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff really went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed. I appreciated the lovely atmosphere at the pool area and the convenient location.

I loved the beautifully remodeled lobby with its cozy vibe! The outdoor fire pit area became my favorite spot for evening relaxation, with a perfect atmosphere for unwinding. Plus, the clean and spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds.
